Ato Tekle Wakjira is a graduate of St. Mary University with MBA in General Management, BA in Management from Addis Ababa University, LLB in Law from Zegha Business Collage, Diploma in Accounting from Addis Ababa Commercial College and he has attended various training local and abroad.

Ato Tekle started his carrier at Awash International Bank S.C on 15th January, 1996 and worked there about 20 years in different capacities. He served as Manager-Property Administration Division, Manager-Alternate Channel and Quality Assurance Division, A/Manager-Branch Accounts and Consolidation Division, Branch Manager at different Branches, Assistant Branch Manager, Accountant and other areas of operations.
