The Board of Directors is the highest organ of the Bank appointed by the Annual General Meeting of shareholders every three year. It is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Bank and ensuring its overall safety and soundness and that the Management, employees and the Board itself comply with established directives of the regulatory body and policies of the Bank. The Board of Directors comprise 12 individuals.
In addition to attendance at full Board Meetings, Board of Directors involve in membership on Board Committees that comprise Audit, Risk & Compliance, Human Resources Affairs and Board Loan Review.
The Board of Directors have appropriate financial, economic and legal backgrounds necessary to oversee and evaluate the overall performance and risk profile of the Bank.
