He was elected as a Board of Director by the Annual General Meeting of shareholders that took place on November 23, 2019.
Qualification/Education History: he holds Master of Arts (Public Administration) MPA and and B.A. Degree in Economics supported by participation in several Public Finance and Monetary Policy short and medium term training programmes, mostly sponsored by the World Bank and IMF.
Work Experiences
He has served in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MoFED) in various capacities and was engaged in the country’s macro economy and public finance policy design and implementation. He was also a technical advisor in macro-fiscal policy and management in the same ministry sponsored by UNICEF.
He is currently working for the Oxford Policy Management Organization based in the UK as a Finance Work stream Manager in Building Resilience Program in Ethiopia.
He has brought with him board management experiences that he gained while working in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development (MoFED).
He is currently serving as Vice President of the Ethiopian Economics Association.
