He was elected as a Board Director by the Annual General Meeting of shareholders that took place on December 10, 2022.
Qualification/Education History He holds MA Degree in Public Administration and BA Degree in Management from Addis Ababa University. He has participated in various training programs such as governance; risk management; leadership/management; strategic planning; human resources management, procurement, and property & facility management. In addition, he has attended various research conferences, seminars, and workshops.
He has worked in the insurance industry, institutions of higher learning and in a government institution has and gained practical experiences from the sectors. He was a Training and Consultancy Department Director and later Business and Economics Faculty Dean with City University College; served as a Benefits Section Head at Wegagen Bank; served as an Insurance Officer and later Branch Manager at Nyala Insurance Company and was Audit Service Head with Awi Health Department; Personnel Administration Section Head and later Acting Administration and Finance Service Head.
He has comprehensive expertise in human resource management; procurement, property & facility management; and insurance underwriting & claims handling. In his service tenure, he has reviewed and developed several policy and procedure manuals in the area of human resource management, procurement, property and facility management and served as member and chairperson of different committees in various administrative and academic standing.
He has been working for Nib Insurance Company in different capacities and is currently the Human Resource Management Department Director.
