Ato Sime G/Selassie is a graduate of Addis Ababa University with MBA Degree in Business Administration (2005) and B.A. Degree in Accounting (1996). He has also taken various training including certification in Management Consultancy.

Ato Sime started his banking carrier in Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) and worked there for over 14 years in different capacities including Assistant to Vice President HRM, Director-Procurement, Manager-HR Planning & Management Succession, Senior Banking Systems Analyst, Credit Analyst and other jobs in Credit Department. During his stay in CBE, he had participated in developing Human Resource Management Policy Manuals and HR Planning Succession Management procedures. In addition, he led ad-hoc teams for salary scale review and write-off review office of CBE effectively. He also served as a team leader of Facilities Management re-engineering team of CBE.

Apart from his banking career, he served as Instructor at Unity University and in various in-house training.

Ato Sime joined Addis International Bank S.C. in January 2011 from CBE.
